Kiandra Howarth

Kiandra is presently undertaking studies in a Bachelor of Music Degree at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU). Her performances include the roles of Phyllis in Iolanthe and Rapunzel in Into the Woods (for the Lane Theatre Ensemble) and Michal in Saul (for QCGU). She also performed in the chorus of A Midsummer Night’s Dream (for QCGU) and The Sound of Music (for the Gold Coast Little Theatre). Kiandra was a quarter-finalist in the McDonald’s Operatic Aria Competition (2006) and finished third in the South East Queensland Aria and Concerto Competition (2008). She has attended The National Summer School for Singers in Bathurst, and in 2008 was the recipient of the Alton Budd Scholarship.
