Andrew Meadows

Andrew has worked extensively as a lighting designer in the performing arts. His credits include productions of Absurd Person Singular, God is a DJ and The Cherry Orchard (for Queensland Theatre Company), BAAL (for Queensland University of Technology), Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Post Office Rose, Crèche and Burn, Long Gone Lonesome Cowgirls, Secret Bridesmaids’ Business and Away (for La Boite Theatre Company), The Big Three, Dance Bait, The Sleeping Beauty and St Frances (for Queensland Ballet), The Creation and The Food of Love (for Opera Queensland), Crunch, Blaze and Toxic Tale Spin (for Backbone Youth Arts) and Black Shorts, Goin’ to the Island, Binni’s Backyard and A Life of Grace (for Kooemba Jdarra Indigenous Performing Arts).

Overseas engagements include The Lion King (in Johannesburg and Taipei in 2007 and 2008 respectively). Andrew is currently touring Australia and overseas as the Lighting Designer and Production Manager on Teuila Postcards (for Polytoxic Dance Theatre).
